Growing Through Challenge – Why We Continue to Invest in People
Over the last few years, there is no doubt that education, business and employment sectors have all felt the pressure of changing economic conditions. Rising costs, uncertainty in markets and workforce shortages have impacted almost every industry.
But at GeSS Education, rather than stepping back, we made the decision to continue moving forward. We had to – considering we opened our campus just 2 weeks before COVID impacted all our lives.
One thing that has always been important to us is making sure opportunity remains accessible. Despite increasing operating costs, we have worked hard to maintain our course pricing and continue investing back into our students, our systems, and our people because we know education changes lives — and we never want cost alone to stop someone from accessing a better future.
Today, we are incredibly proud to now support 57 High Schools across Australia, delivering education either directly within schools or through our online platforms. Watching students gain confidence, develop skills, and start thinking differently about their future continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. At the same time, our international student community on campus continues to grow, with students choosing GeSS because they want more than a qualification — they want support, industry connection, and genuine outcomes.
One of our biggest areas of development has been our Offshore In-Country Training Programs.
These programs were built because we saw a need to do things differently. Rather than asking students to take enormous risks upfront, we created a pathway, that allows people to commence Australian-standard training in their own countries, supported by Australian trainers and systems, while preparing for real employment opportunities.
Our commitment remains simple:
Train → Educate → Employ → Deploy → Support
Importantly, support does not stop when training finishes. We continue to work with students and graduates as they transition into employment opportunities both within Australia and globally.

Another exciting milestone for us has been the continued growth of Aged & Disability Support Services (ADSS) — our not-for-profit service model developed to create meaningful care outcomes while also creating employment opportunities for skilled workers. ADSS represents something we strongly believe in — building services that put people first while creating long-term sustainability.
This year has also brought national recognition through award success — something that honestly came as a surprise and was incredibly humbling. Awards are wonderful, but what they really represent is the hard work of our team, our partners, our students, and every person who has believed in our vision.
As we continue to grow, our focus remains the same.
- Create opportunities.
- Support people.
- Invest in quality.
And never lose sight of why we started.
Thank you to everyone who continues to be part of the GeSS journey.
This is only the beginning.
“From classrooms to communities, from local students to global pathways — our commitment remains the same: creating opportunities that change lives.”

Take the first step towards an exciting career!
