Cathy Wagner

Cathy Wagner is just one of several writers and Trainers who support GeSS with both educational writing and consultancy services. Cathy is both a qualified vocational Trainer as well as a qualified Teacher. Cathy has the following qualifications: AIPM RegPM Certification as a Certified Practicing Program Director (CPPD); Postgraduate Unit, Educational Leadership and Mgt (Newcastle University); Advanced Diploma in Project Management; Diploma Teaching (University of Western Sydney); Diploma HR Management; Certificate IV in Training & Assessment; and Certificate III in Business Administration.

Cathy is a published writer and poet, a proficient educator, change agent and project manager. Having held executive positions as Acting CEO and Certification Manager within the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Cathy’s accomplishments within AIPM include launching the Women in Project Management forums for AIPM and implementing improvements to the RegPM Certification Program, particularly for the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO).

Other senior roles include National Education Manager for the Property Council; Change Lead on a BlueScope SAP project and High School Principal. Cathy has managed several projects in both government and council on business and economic development. She currently consults on educational vocational compliance and writes for several training organisations including the NSW Department of Health.
