• CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability) – Eligibility: Applicants must have successfully completed either a Certificate II n Health Support Services to be considered for enrolment.
• CHC22015 Certificate II Community Services
• BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills
• SIS50319 Diploma of Sport (Coaching & Sport Development) – Eligibility: Applicants must be actively engaged in a recognised sporting group and have successfully completed a Certificate II level qualification or higher.
AUSTRALIAN HEALTH – VISA PATHWAY OPPORTUNITY FOR ONLINE PNG STUDENTS
The Australian Health Visa Pathway provides an opportunity for PNG students to begin their healthcare careers by completing a Certificate II in Health Support Services online from their home country. Upon successful completion, students are interviewed to assess their suitability for further study and work placement opportunities. Eligible students may then progress to the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support, specialising in Aged Care and Disability, which includes 120 hours of practical placement and may offer credit for completed units. Students are eligible to apply for either a Temporary Work Visa under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Stream (subclass 403) or a Temporary Skill Shortage Visa (subclass 482), depending on students eligibility and availability.
GeSS Education in partnership with leading Australian Recruitment Agencies, and multiple aged care facilities will work to find you a suitable Australian employer within the aged and/or disability health sector to sponsor you for your Visa. Student selection for this program is based on student attendance and behaviour to ensure employability skills are transferrable to prospective employers. Students are to apply for this program on completion of their GeSS Education course. GeSS Education is an approved supplier of aged care for Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Basic computer skills and access to a desktop or laptop with sufficient internet speed to undertake online studies.

COURSE: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing & Disability)
DURATION: 9-12 months (self-paced)
DELIVERY: Online in PNG + work placement in Australia
FEES: AUD$5,000 (Fees are payable upfront)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
• Successful completion of a HLT23221 Certificate II in Health Support Services
• Resume
• Valid passport
• Applicants are required to be interviewed prior to acceptance into the above online course and be willing to undertake a work placement process.
• Undertake 120 hours of work placement in Australia.
• ‘Functional English’ language proficiency – 1 year study with an institution in Australia where all instruction was in English which will be competency after competition of the Certificate III qualifications. An average band score of at least 4.5 IELTS based on the 4 test components
• Not had a visa cancelled or an application refused
