CUA30320 Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching (NSW ONLY)

Do you want to take your passion for dance to the next level and at the same time gain a recognised qualification that enhances your future employment opportunities? This qualification reflects the role of a person working in a varied context in the private dance teaching industry, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

• No specific entry requirements except for basic computer skills and access to a desktop or laptop with sufficient internet speed to undertake online studies.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SMART AND SKILLED PROGRAM

A person who is eligible to receive subsided training in all Smart and Skilled Programs (except Smart and Skilled Entitlement Apprenticeships and Traineeships Program) is a person who, at the time of enrolment in a qualification or course on the NSW Skill List or a “short course” with a Smart and Skilled provider.

  • An Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student who does not live or work in NSW but lives in specific defined interstate NSW border area is eligible for government-subsidised training under Smart and Skill; and
  • Is
    • An Australian citizen; or
    • A permanent Australian resident; or
    • A New Zealand citizen; or
    • A humanitarian visa holder or a partner visa holder whose sponsor is a humanitarian visa holder; and
  • Is aged 15 years or older and
  • Is no longer in secondary education – except for registered home school students.

HOW TO OBTAIN A UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI)?

Getting a Unique Student Identifier (USI) is quick, easy and free.
Follow the steps below to create your USI:
  1. Go to the USI Registry System, and have a valid form of ID ready.
  2. Agree to the terms and conditions.
  3. Select Create USI.
  4. Select your evidence of identity document (see the types of ID you can use).
  5. Enter your personal details exactly as they appear on your form of ID.
  6. Enter your contact details, including at least two contact methods.
  7. Confirm your identity. The USI Registry System will check and confirm your identity using the ‘Documentation Verification Service’ (DVS).
  8. Secure your account with a USI password and check questions.

This qualification will be delivered by GeSS Education on behalf of our partner RTO, Trade and Occupational College of Australia Pty Ltd (TOC Australia) Provider code 32407, under a third-party arrangement. TOC Australia is the provider approved by the NSW Government to deliver the CUA30320 Certificate III in Assistant Dance Teaching qualification for Smart & Skilled and will issue students qualification upon successful completion of the course.
