SIS20122 Certificate II in Sport and Recreation

Kickstart your career in the sport and recreation industry with this entry-level course, designed to give you the essential skills and knowledge for assistant-level roles.
Combining practical experiences with theoretical  learning, you’ll learn practical skills in event planning recreation sessions, equipment maintenance, and activity facilitation, while also gaining important knowledge on health and safety and emergency response.
After completing the course, you’ll be ready to work as  community coach, recreation assistant, or help out at recreation facilities, setting you up for success in this exciting industry.

Entry Requirements:

You don’t need a specific fitness level or prior fitness knowledge to start the Certificate II in Sport & Recreation. You just need to meet our basic LLN requirements so we can be sure that you will be successful in the course.

Course Duration:

6 - 12 months (may be completed earlier depending on previous skills and knowledge or if packaged with relevant Diploma qualification)
