GeSS Education all set to call Australia Fair home
IF standing the test of time is a true testimony to greatness the Gold Coast’s newest education campus has passed all tests with flying colours.
Global Educational Supplies and Services (GeSS Education), the brainchild of education industry leader Cristine Russell will next year open the doors on its brand new, state-of-the-art campus at one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic landmarks – Australia Fair.
Founded in 2012 with a crystal-clear vision to provide outstanding, high quality education to all students, GeSS Education’s desire to offer a ‘back to basics’ face to face experience for local and international students studying pathway qualifications through its partner Colleges, has led to its expansion into the Gold Coast – one of Australia’s most sought-after destinations for local and international students.
“Now it is time for our next big adventure – to open our own campus on the Gold Coast,” GeSS Education Managing Director Cristine Russell said.
“We have an outstanding team of educators, trainers, support staff and partner Colleges and the opportunity to establish our first campus at the prime location of Australia Fair was a massive factor in our decision to open our campus on the Gold Coast.”
Prior to establishing GeSS Education, Ms Russell spent 15 years in various roles including Director of Studies, Campus Director, National Director of Studies, and General Manager of Operations and Academia for one of the largest education providers at that time. She then spent 5 years with UOW Enterprises managing the University of Wollongong’s vocational college and growing it to include qualifications in business, childcare, aged care, community services and nursing.
Ms Russell’s history and reputation as an industry leader in education has allowed GeSS Education to grow and spread its wings and what better place to live and learn than on the glorious Gold Coast.
“We are immensely proud to be opening our new campus on the Gold Coast and we are equally excited to be opening at one of the Gold Coast’s most famous landmarks – Australia Fair,” Ms Russell said.
“We have been overwhelmed with support from industry partners and the excitement is growing about what this campus will bring to the Gold Coast and the future qualifications it will deliver.”
“I can’t wait to welcome our first cohort of students in February 2020 and take our first student induction photo on the balcony overlooking the Broadwater looking out towards Marina Mirage and down to Surfers Paradise.”
Situated at Southport, Australia Fair is home to more than 210 shops, a state-of-the art cinema complex, and has recently undergone a massive $25M redevelopment.
