Joel is a self-driven, passionate professional with 12 years’ experience in the disability services sector, and a strong desire to positively influence the lives of people with disability and their families. Highly skilled in reviewing and designing holistic support models that empower individuals and reflect participant’s needs and desires, as well as providing high quality training and ongoing support to service delivery staff and stakeholders. Joel is also a Physical Intervention/Conflict Resolution Instructor for MAYBO Australia and is an approved NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner. He has delivered high quality supports in a wide variety of roles in the disability sector and successfully established new disability support services in the Ipswich and Toowoomba regions, including hub and Supported Independent Living (SIL) services. Joel brings a wealth of knowledge and current experience to training our future Aged Care, Home and Community, and Disability workers. We are very excited to have Joel as one of our valued team members of GeSS Education.
