Last Saturday I had the privilege of watching Romeo & Juliet, a production of Technicolour Theatre Company. A theatre training company that calls GeSS Education its home. The talent of these young people was heartwarming. While they were all at differing stages of their skills and expertise, their cohesion as a team was outstanding. At Gess Education we are a little bit biased though, in that our very own Alyssa Burnett who stars in our current TV and Cinema commercial played Mercutio in the play. WOW. What a brilliant actor. Stunning on stage, vocal projection was amazing, and her acting skills just left me with shivers down my arms during her death scene on stage.

While I am not an avid theatre goer, I love anything to do with acting, movies and creativity; and the emotional reaction from myself and the audience at Alyssa’s acting, tells me that she has a very big career in front of her. What was also lovely to see on that beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon, was that most of our team gave up their own personal time to support their work colleague. This is enviable and a testament to the lovely work environment we foster at GeSS Education. We work hard to create this environment and it is paramount for any successful business, but in our case, it is even more important because it is this environment that also creates the campus environment for all our students. We have heard many times already, the vibe on campus is just lovely. Students are thriving and progressing well in their courses and 2 of our students have already gained positions well before they finished their course. As with all our students, we will be watching Alyssa’s career progression closely and look forward to seeing her thrive and kick some great goals in the future!!!
