A lot can happen in just a couple of months. What an understatement!!! We have gone from birthday celebrations sitting closely together to pose for photos to helping our staff with childcare – all due to our current COVID-19 environment.
In addition to our Gold Coast Campus - Level 8, Australia Fair, next Friday we will be supporting students even more with a “Student Information Centre” - Ground Floor – Shop GO97/GO98, Australia Fair (near JB HiFi).
Last Saturday I had the privilege of watching Romeo & Juliet, a production of Technicolour Theatre Company. A theatre training company that calls GeSS Education its home. The talent of these young people was heartwarming.
As 2020 comes to an end my thoughts turn to gratitude for what has ended up being a fantastic year for GeSS Education. While there has been challenges - which most businesses have faced this year, we can be thankful that we not only kept our team but we increased it.
It is hard to believe that it has been 1 year since we officially opened the campus, and it is a bit too close to Xmas to embark on another article of our achievements in the last year. However, I can report that we had the best anniversary present yesterday.
Local member Angie Bell MP was super hands on during her visit to GeSS Education campus at Southport.
GeSS Education allied health students got to demonstrate the skills first hand as Angie stepped in to be their patient. GeSS Education congratulated Angie for all her hard work to secure a $53 million federal budget lifeline for private higher education institutes, VET colleges and English language.
