HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance

This intermediate level course is designed to equip students with the practical skills and knowledge required to support Allied Health Professionals in a diverse range of healthcare settings. Students will learn to assist with clinical assessments, implement individual care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide direct support to clients under supervision in their work placement. Upon completion, graduates are qualified to work as an allied health assistant in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare environments, making valuable contributions to the health and well-being of patients.

• Basic computer skills and access to a desktop or laptop with sufficient internet speed to undertake online studies.
• 120 hours of work placement is mandatory for this course. Placement will be organised for the student.
