With more than 15 years of international coaching experience complemented by formal teaching roles, Fernando offers a unique combination of practical expertise and academic rigor to the Diploma of Sports Coaching program. His approach integrates modern coaching science with structured learning strategies, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills essential for success in the sports industry.

Fernando’s career spans multiple countries and elite environments. He has served as Technical Director at Robina City FC and Advanced Head Coach for Football Queensland, leading player development initiatives and driving club growth. As the Founder of Brazil Football Clinic, Fernando pioneered cognitive-based training and advanced methodology programs designed to develop intelligent, adaptable athletes. His previous appointments include Technical Director roles in New Zealand with Nomads United AFC and Christchurch United FC, as well as elite youth coaching positions in Australia and Brazil.

Beyond his coaching credentials, Fernando is a qualified vocational educator. He holds a Vocational Education & Training (VET) Trainer & Assessor Certification, enabling him to deliver competency-based training and assessment aligned with industry standards. His qualifications include multiple elite coaching licenses, CBF A & B Licenses, AFC A Licence, FA A Diploma, and NSCAA National Diploma, alongside specialist certifications in Cognitive Football Instruction, Tactical Periodization, and TOVO Barcelona methodology. These achievements reflect his commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence.
