This nationally accredited course is suitable for anyone who wishes to undertake first aid training for a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
The course covers HLTAID011, HLTAID010 and HLTAID009 and provides the skills and knowledge required to deliver an effective first aid response in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and other relevant Australian clinical standards.
Participants will learn how to respond to emergency situations, apply appropriate first aid procedures, communicate incident details, and review emergency responses.
Training includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and application of the DRSABCD action plan to manage emergency situations until professional medical assistance arrives.
